I have a 2005 BMW K1200lt and this is the best handling tire I have tried after having problem with another brand. Not the longest lasting but definitely the best in the wet and secure handling. This is my third purchase of the BT020-M.

Own a used k1200lt. Didn't know it requires such a special tire. 79W. Jeesh!

This is the best performing tire for the rear of this bike. Ride, handling, wet road, mileage.
Rick L on Nov 13, 2018
Because it was less expensive than the Metzler 888's and it's reviews were just as good

I love these tires.
I simply love these tires. Not many choices for my K1200lt and I’ve used the metzlers and Avon’s, they are no comparison to the BT’s. Very stable at all speeds and fair life. But most importantly, they make my 900 lb bike feel like 700 lbs and at slow speeds there’s no issues like with my old Metzlers. Did I say I love these tires!!!

This is my third Bridgestone BT020-M and I think this the best rear tire for this machine. Great ride, handling, wet traction and mileage.

Why switch?
I have used these tires on my 2000 BMW k1200lt for years. I have found them to be reliable, good on wet pavement, plus they get decent mileage. No reason to switch.

Good tire, good price
I got 20,000 miles out of my last -battlax-BT020 on a BMW K1200 LT so I'm sticking with what works. Also, Bike Bandit had the best price of anyone online that I could find. Amazon was slightly cheaper, but they would charge sales tax that made it more expensive. Also, very fast shipping with Bike Bandit.

Long Life
I use this tire on my 2005 BMW K1200LT. I have found it to last approx. 2K miles more than my other choice, and it has good grip in all weather.
i still use the other choice for my Front tire, but this Rear is my Go-To choice.
My choice's are Limited by the Load restriction for this Bike.

good tire, good price
Made a good replacement for the rear on K1200LT sidecar rig. Seems to have good dry and improved wet traction. Good tire at a good price! If the mileage is decent it will be perfect. Once again Bike Bandit can't be beat for quality parts; OEM and after market. I maintain a fleet of a dozen bikes of various makes and models and Bike Bandit has been my go to source for years! THANKS AGAIN BB!

Bridgestone Battlax BT020-M
I ordered a Bridgestone tire and valve stem for my BMW. The tire was delivered by UPS in two days without the valve stem and the packing slip that came with the tire did not reflect the status of the stem – I thought it was possibly lost. When I have ordered a tire and valve stem from other tire suppliers the stem was taped to the inside of tire. Since, I did not know the status of the valve stem and I needed the motorcycle, I had the new tire mounted using my old valve stem. Two days later the stem was delivered by the US Postal Service. I doubt if I will order another tire from BikeBandit because of their shipping procedure. I am happy with the price, the quality of the Bridgestone tire and speedy delivery of the tire. As noted, I was not happy that BikeBandit shipped my ordered items separately and that they did not note on my tire packing slip that the valve stem would be sent later.

Best all-purpose ST1100 rear tire.
I have tried many different rear tires & nothing to date compares with this tire on the ST1100. I consistently get 8-9000 miles from every tire. It handles great all the way to the edge of the tread. It is one of the least expensive tires available. I know it is a bias-tire, but it works very well with a radial front, the best so far being the Michelin PR3. You can spend more & get a lot less tire. I have over 80,000 miles of experience and keep coming back to this tire.
