What is the difference between a reinforced tire and non reinforced?
Tony P on Mar 26, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for the question, Tony! The Bridgestone Battlecruise H50 Motorcycle Tire comes in both a radial ply and bias ply type construction. Bias-ply tires have cords made of different fibers (polyester, aramid, or fiberglass) that run from bead to bead at an angle. Radial tires have reinforcing belts (steel) running from bead to bead across the tread of the tire. I've seen reviews where folks have received tires that were 2 years old. How can I be sure I'm getting a recently manufactured tire?
Eric J on Feb 24, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, we are not able to guarantee that but we do know most if not all our tires are usually within a year of the manufacture date. We do not stock large amounts of tires at our location so most tires are shipped directly from the tire manufacturer's closest warehouse to you. This would be the freshest stock they have on hand that is being shipped from these locations. We, unfortunately, we do not have a way to verify which date you would get on your tire. All tires sold by BikeBandit.com are well within the manufacturer's suggested shelf life for tires. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
What is the tread depth of the Battlecruise H 50 tire by Bridgestone ?
A shopper on Jan 27, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for the question! That will depend on the tire sizes you order, a 150/80-16 will have a tread depth of around 9/32" while a 100/90-19 will be around 6/32". The OEM rear tire for my 2012 Triumph T100 is a Metzler Lasertec in a 130/80-17. I ordered a Brigdestone Battlecruise in the same size but the witdth across the new tire is 1" narrower than the Metzler. What is the maximum Bridgestone tire size that I can use on my Triumph? This tire will be using a tube.
Armando G on Dec 30, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hello Armando, we recommend using the original size tire, which is 130/80-17. If your Metzeler was the same size, one inch narrower is a big difference. Please give us a call so we can sort out any issues with the tire sizing.

Nice tires
Damn good tires, running these om my 2016 Street Glide and these tires have run better and smoother than the Commander 2's. Tires have pretty good traction and allow for an easy comfortable ride. Definitely won me over and I'm glad I got them.

Bridgestone H50
Tires are two years old, and they are non-directional. Bike uses directional tires with a higher low rating than Bridgestone H50.

So far so good. They grab the road extremely well. Have yet to try them in the rain but I'm impressed by the tread design. Can't wait to see how long they last on my Fatboy.

Great tire for a HD-Fatboy
Tires were easily mounted and balanced. They make my bike feel lighter and more agile. The ride and handling is very good with wet weather traction being good.

I have previously run Dunlop American Elite's, Metzler 888's, Michelin Commander II's, and the stock Dunlop's. These tires are just a good as any of them.

Hopefully they stand the test of mileage.

Like a new bike, Joe Missouri
I have an 07 Roadglide, I bought the bike with 20 k on it, I have always ran the stock dunlops, I found these online and without any research said what the hell I'll give them a shot I've had my bike about five years and have put over 76,000 miles on her that's a lot of dunlops! I was impressed instantly with the way the Bridgestones felt and their responsiveness it put in the mind of the days I rode lighter more agile machines, a little over a week and a few hundred miles and the keep getting better! Now the wear test.
