The makes you feel safe with the feedback from wet or dry roads, you always know what you’re on. The biggest plus side about this tire is the mileage you’ll get out of it. Good for the cost
Good for the price. So far grip is good on asphalt. Concrete is a little tricky, think it's just here in Cheyenne.

Conti Motion Tire
I had to replace the rear tire that had a nail in it...it mounted up great with only small weight to balance it...seems to make the bike handle well in dry conditions....Don't know about wet weather performance as I usally don't ride in the rain.

May be ok for nonaggressive rider
I have a 2006 Yamaha FZ1. I don’t care about doing any burnouts. I do put the hammer down and had the back break loose at 70mph. Cornering is ok, as long as you don’t lean the bike much. If you do get more aggressive, things get a bit squirley. Wet weather traction was not good . Had to really stay off the throttle to keep it straight, taking a corner felt like riding in a muddy road. I used to race motocross years ago, so it’s not like I am a novice rider!

This is the third rear Conti Motion I've fitted to a Honda CB750SC, not a powerhouse motorcycle. I rate the handling and mileage as 'adequate' The main thing I like about this tire is it's price vs. performance. Most other tires offer good enough traction and similar tire wear, at more cost.

More Sport Than Touring
I live in Louisiana and have a 2004 Kawasaki ZX-10R as my only vehicle. Because it is not just a weekend toy but my daily commuter I did not want to buy a set of tyres for $250 to $300 that would end up having a flat spot in the middle after 2000 miles anyways. I am also in my mid 20's and therefore money is occasionally an issue as well. The goal was therefore a tyre that would last 7000 to 8000 miles, handle the Kawasaki's athletic spirit, and offer good performance for all sorts of roads all year around in all types of weather at a more affordable price point.

I bought this set and got them shipped quickly for free. They are way softer/stickier then I expected and most likely won't last me the mileage I anticipate, however, offer a relatively quick warm-up time, phenomenal grip in the dry as well as wet, quick turn in, and the steel belt construction is much more comfortable than the Pirelli Diablo Rosso II's that came with the bike when I bought it. It is a sport touring tyre but I see more sport than touring in its DNA which I do not necessarily mind.

Impressed
This is my second set of Conti-motions I love them and will probably never switch brands. I got 10,000 miles out of my front tire and about 9000 out of the rear. Had to replace it early due to a nail.

Showing steel belt in less than 2700 miles.
While these tires gripped quite well, the back tire didn't even last a full riding season. I got about 2700 miles out of the back tire. Overall, not that impressed.
Show steel belt in less than 2700 miles and I don't do burnouts.

I had this tire before and it performs great. People complain about the quality, but the tire works on the bike. I have zero chicken strips and ride the bike quite hard. No problems.
Volker S on Apr 17, 2018
Bargain price and I already had the front one and it has performed well.
Sherri M on Apr 3, 2018
good price on the tire, i read comments that said if your an aggressive rider this is not the tire for you. Well not an aggressive rider and i hope it handles well in the rain. Well see.

I was looking for the continental conti-force tire- a tire that apparently has been discontinued- but I have heard great reviews about this tire. I also heard good things about bike bandit

conti is neck and neck with michelin as far as tire quality and production

Same tires I've always used.. great traction ...holds well on turns.

Good pricing and good reviews , the reviews help alot when ordering a product that the consumer has not purchased before
Ezra G on Sep 6, 2016
Because it's a direct replacement for what's on my motorcycle now. Once I use up the front tire, I'm going to try something different that will last longer than one riding season.
John J on Aug 5, 2016

Conti vs Shinko?

I see that Shinko stepped up to the plate with quality low cost sport touring tires... How do these stack up against Shinko tires? I'm not sure about the entry level comment on the Conti's....sounds like there not made to take some hard riding.
Chep on Jan 23, 2010
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question. We have had positive feedback from customers on this tire. High mileage and good wet weather performance make it great competition for Shinko.

Can these low cost tires be suitable for aggresive sport touring rider?Nothing 's free, what do I have to give up compared to higher priced sport touring radials?Ride comfort, handling, wet grip?
joydrive on Dec 3, 2009
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! With the Conti Motion Motorcycle Tire that your looking at this is actually a very good tire, when it comes to handling features this is just as good as some of the higher priced tires, wear life on Conti tires is also very good, you can compare that to Metzeler or Bridgestone.
