Conti Road Attack 2 Hyper Sport Motorcycle Tire

Conti Road Attack 2 Hyper Sport Motorcycle Tire. Continental's revolutionary new tire technology offers a level of grip, safety, mileage and dynamics never known before in the sport-touring radial market. The micro-roughness of the tread optimizes the mechanical adhesion and offers the safest, fastest break-in period in the market. Continental's Continuous Compound Technology (shared from the ContiRace Attack product line) is a single compound is used that through a temperature controlled curing process delivers the benefits of a multi-compound tire without the abrupt transition between the different compounds that other multi-compound tires are known for. This tire's center tread area is wear resistant so you can put more miles on your motorcycle. The shoulder tread area provides better grip from the center to the shoulder of the tire, and the Road Attack 2 offers continuous transition from center to shoulder for smooth and predictable performance.

Pretty much the best tire for the money I have come across. Make the switch you won't regret it.
I have been riding Continental tires since the mid 2000's I bought them for a 748 because there was a special promotion through a local Honda dealer. I was always impressed with their non need for a "break in" period. The tread wear always outlasted the competition. And they seemed to feel more stable both in the cold and the wet. When it was time to re-shod my SV650 I knew I wanted to go back to Continental. The road attacks do not let down! Sporty enough to grip the mountain road in VA in October. Enough grip to get the knee and peg down. (I do not condone unsafe riding, I was simply dodging aggressive falling leaves and in my maneuver found my knee on the ground repeatedly) I experimented and I am riding a hyper sport front for more sporty grip and feel and the road attack on the rear for mileage. Both are great and will give miles of smiles. Even in October they get plenty sticky!! I have a picture of this day in question if I could figure out how to upload it I will.
I am not sponsored by Continental I simply love their tires and if you give them a shot you probably will too! If you are one of those super Dooper sport bike guys who thinks you NEED Pirelli, or Michlien, or or Dunlop on the street, chances are, you NEED to be on the track. The Continental will give you all you NEED on the street. In fact they'll do it longer, with better feel, for less money. Get over your tire stigma and give them a shot. You won't be disappointed.

love my contis
I ride a BMW K1100LT, and have for 10 plus years. The OEM Metzler 550 has been out of production longer then that and the 880 replacements, while very good, were also slightly over sized and I therefore decided to try some other tires. For my front I selected the Conti Road Attack 2 Hyper Sport Motorcycle Tire, but there was not a fit for my rear so after a little searching on Bike Bandit I found a vey similar tread pattern in the Conti Trail Attack 2 Dual-Sport Tire. They are in fact a great match and work great together. I will not say anything incriminate about my riding speed, but let it suffice to say that if riding a big V-twin is like riding a sled, my beemer with Contis is like riding an ice skate. My next pair is already in my garage.

Absolutely Fantastic
These tires replaced the previous 'Attack' tire from Conti, and are a superior tire. They needed no break-in/heat cycle to burn off the oil film. They have outstanding traction and are a fantastic cornering tire. I ride a z750s, and this is the tire I'm staying with, until Conti makes something better than these. Although that's hard to imagine.

These are great tires for a sport bike!
Get great life from these tires. Either I'm into the turns mostly. Or they just don't square off. Down to the metal on my last pair, & no boxing.

Great Start
I went from Road Attack (original) rear and Trail Attack front to straight Road Attack2s on my Vstrom 1000. I rode in the rain with no break-in, it was comfortable out of my driveway and has only gotten better. I somehow pulled 18k+ miles out of my original Road Attack rear and half that would be good on the Attack2s.
