Recommended by a friend. Just ran through a set of Michelin PR5s and was surprised by rapid deterioration. Not sure they're the best tread pattern for my SuperDuke GT. Thought I'd give the Contis a try.

There were good reviews and they were less money than the Metzeler Roadtec.

Trying to decide between the Conti Road Attack 3's and Metzler Z8/Interact for my 2014 Street Triple. Most of my riding is 2-lane backroads with mixed tarmac quality with some occasional 4-lane miles. Any thoughts?? Thanks!
A shopper on May 6, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I've been using the Conti Road Attack series of tires since 2007 and have always found them to be durable, providing excellent grip under all conditions. My riding is similar to yours in that I try to stay away from the 4-lane miles also.
Are these tires good on dry pavement?

What's the recommended rim width for the Road Attack 130/80-18?
James C on Oct 4, 2019

Looking for the best tire options for my 2014 Street Triple and currently comparing the Conti Road Attack 3's and Metzler Z8/Interact. Most of my riding is mixed in town and 2-lane backroads with varied road quality with some occassional 4-lane/highway. Any thoughts/suggestions? Thanks!

Would buy them again
I bought these tires for my BMW K1600 GT before an extended trip out west. They worked great in wet and dry weather and after 9000 miles still have miles left. I was concerned they would be too worn after my trip but was pleased with how well they have lasted. On Highway and mountain & Canyon curves they were very good!

great tires
More expensive than most, but handle like sport bike tires and last forever. I don't buy anything else for my Triumph Tiger 800.

Conti Road Attack 3
Because of the lock down I haven't gotten a chance to have them installed yet but based on past Road Attack experience they should be very good.

Good grip
Ordered a set to replace my tourances on my 17 1200 gsa tires installed easy on the rims and required minimal counter weights to balance, tires were slightly noisy on my local roads, but had great grip. Tires rode well with 2 up and loaded over 1300 mile ride in both rain and dry. Tires were squirrly on gravel, but it's not fair to critize there performance off road. Hope tire mileage is better than tourances, time will tell.

Conti Road Attack 3 Tires
These Conti Road Attack 3 tires are so much better than the Metzler's that were original equipment on my 2014 Bonneville. I have ridden only three hours on these new tires. The things I never liked about my original tires was bad performance on rain grooves, tar snakes, any ripples at all on the road. The Road Attack 3 tires take everything in stride. They stay connected to the road all the time. Although I have yet to try them on the raised crosswalk tape when turning a corner. I hope they don't step out a few inches like my original tires. So far I really like these Road Attack 3 tires. They were on sale too.
