Do you need a tube for a tubeless tire with spoked rim?

I'm going to be buying new tires for my 650vstar it's a 1998. I need front and back and tubes. 170/80-15. And 100/90-19. I want a sporty tire design and good on wet and dry roads can you all help with this not shore about tide size need?
Michael P on Apr 27, 2020
BEST ANSWER: I bought a set for my wife's Harley sportster. These are pretty good tires once they are ran in (80 miles). But during your run in miles they are really slick. Use caution as with any new tire. She's ran them pretty hard (seriously dragging pegs hard) since the run in time and loves them. Rain doesn't seem to be an issue either. I will buy them again when it comes time again. Highly recommend

For a Dunlop 90/90-18is there a break in mileage for a new tire?
A shopper on Aug 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for the question. There is no exact break in mileage but I do recommend that you ride at a reasonable speed and don't drag any foot pegs right off the bat. The reason I say this is because some tires are coated with some sort of chemical that helps preserve the life of rubber when in storage and it needs to wear off before you can really start to use it to its full capability. I think about 100 miles would be ideal. Why are these not recommended for Harleys??
Anonymous S on Jul 21, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Bryan, thank you for the question. Harley specific or "recommended" tires usually have a different speed and weight rating, as well as a Harley logo on the sidewall. These tires do not match up to Harley standards. what is the difference between front and rear tires? Can they be interchanged?
Roger K on Jan 4, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for the question Roger! A front tire is constructed to provide steering control, while a rear tire has a flatter profile for bike stability. Tires marked front and rear should only be used in their designated position to avoid a dangerous situation for the rider. The section listed tires that fit my Suzuki s40 the rear tire size isn’t listed as a option?
Richard E on Jul 24, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Richard, thank you for the question. For quality assurance, please specify the exact year, make, and model of your S40. Sizes may vary over the years. Most S40 machines use a 100/90-19 front and 140/80-15 rear. If this were the case, you could order 140/90-15 in this tire, or look for the exact same size in a different model or brand tire. Only difference between 140/80 and 140/90 would be that the 140/90 will feature a slightly taller sidewall. Width will be the same. Tires
I needed tires for my 1989 Moto Guzzi California 3. They are a little hard to find for an old motorcycle. the agent was very helpful and the tires arrived promptly. Very satisfied with the service
