Product Details

The Dunlop Geomax AT81 Motorcycle Tire is the industry's new standard of performance for Enduro, GNCC and desert racing. Not only is it physically stronger, but also more adaptable to a wide range of terrain off-road racing covers. The Dunlop Geomax AT81 tire resists accelerated wear while still keeping a feel that is responsive and compliant over rough terrain.

Dunlop Geomax AT81 Motorcycle Tire Features:
  • Lateral grooves on the shoulder knobs provide additional biting edges and also allow the knobs to be more flexible.
  • Dunlop's plush pad recess design between tread blocks enhances compliance for bump absorption and ride comfort.
  • AT 81 rear tread block shape and distribution plus DIRTuitive Grip Design (DGD) knobs help the tire penetrate down through the surface dirt for extra traction across a broad range of off-road applications.
  • Geomax AT81 rear tire carcass features two nylon plies.
  • Rear center blocks are arranged in-line to provide a larger contact patch for maximum traction.
  • Front tire construction includes two plies of nylon wrapped with a third ply of polyester for a strong base.
  • Rear is also available in a Desert RC (reinforced construction) compound.

Best tire I’ve ever used in mixed desert terrain. From sand to rocks, this tire performs.

It's the closest replacement to the D952, but heard it wears quicker. I'll give it a try I guess?
Dave S on Sep 27, 2016

Dunlop Geomax AT81 Motorcycle Tire
This is a pretty good tire that bites and corners well. It doesn't have a lot of meat down the center like the old D952 (Still available on Ebay.com.au) for running logging roads so it will wear faster. It's amazing in tight woods trails and grips well on slippery mud and clay (when new) too. It has a hard compound with a stiff carcass so you can run with a little less pressure for amazing grip.
