I have a 2011 Suzuki TU250 ( 110/90-18 rear 90/90-18 front - stock tire). Don’t know much about tires. What would be the right front and rear comb for my bike?
HECTOR L on Feb 28, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hello Hector, let me break down tire sizing for you. Let us use a 110/90-18 as an example. The 110 is the width of the tire in millimeters. The 90 is the aspect ratio measured from the mounting point of the tire to the outer edge of the tire. In this case, the height would be 90% of 110. Finally, the 18, this is the opening where the wheel fits in measured in inches, so only an 18in wheel would fit this tire. There are other types of tire sizes like 4.25-18. 4.25 it the width measured in inches and the 18 is for the wheel size. For the Dunlop K81, the front 4.25-18 is very similar to the 110/90-18. Unfortunately, the rears offered would be slightly wider than a 90/90-18, but only by about a half inch. Please give us a call so we can assist you in finding the correct tires for your bike. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. what is the width of the tire ?
clarence k on Jan 5, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! The first number in the tire size is the width of the tire followed by the height and wheel size. so in this case the width of the tires is 4.10 inches or 4.25 inches. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll free at 1-888-339-3888. getting ready to order Dunlop tires K81 4.10-18 (part# 2909719) and K70 3.5-19 (part# 2418843) for vintage 79 Honda Hawk CB400A. Need to order tubes as well - want to verify that your IRC heavy duty tubes 100/100 18 (part#1634173)
and 100/90 19 (part# 1634175) are correct ubes for these tires. Can you please assist?
Dan on Mar 9, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! I have checked on those tube sizes and they are correct for those tire sizes.
Are you able to get the K81/TT100 4.10H18 rear tire?

It's overall width is 4.0 inches instead of the 4.25 you have in stock currently.

Here's a link to clarify, it's the 1st one under K81/TT100:

Do you have Dunlop Gold Seal K81 or TT100 in tube type tire?

Sizes:
Front 4.10H19 = 3.25 X 19
Rear 4.25/85H18 = 4.00 X 18

How much?
tomagon on Nov 22, 2009
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! With the Dunlop K81 Vintage Motorcycle Tire that your looking at this would be a gold seal tire, this can also be used in a tube type or tubeless tire.
Doesn't this tire (Dunlop K81 or TT100) come in tube type? I have found this tire on your website in the past.
tomagon on Nov 11, 2009
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! Please let us know which size you require and we will be happy to see what types we can get for you.

Nice but slimy
All as expected but heavily covered with waxy mold release slime - quite a chore to remove .
Nice that the tires were boxed for shipping. I have purchased tires from others in the past and they were simply taped together with a label slapped on- no protection whatsoever.

The perfect tire for vintage Brit bikes
Dunlop K81's are the perfect style for vintage street bikes. The tread and profile are the very best of all brands I've tried.

Great Tires for Old Bikes
I purchased these for my '75 Norton Commando Roadster. No, the K81s aren't made in England anymore (these are from Indonesia), but they look correct and handle well. The truly amazing thing is Bike Bandit service. I live outside of Seattle; I ordered the tires Thursday afternoon and they were delivered Friday morning. Best price too. Incredible.

Best "vintage" tires for the money
Perhaps the best tire to get modern compounds on a vintage tire. Nice soft rubber, on a classic tread design. The tires run a little thin in width, so don't be afraid to go one size up if you want a meaty tire.
