Product Details

The Dunlop Roadsmart II Motorcycle Tire has a completely redesigned tread pattern for both the front and rear tires. This sport touring tire by Dunlop delivers outstanding wet weather performance and long tread life. The Road Smart 2 has elevated all aspects of the Roadsmart and delivered tire that will make any long distance rider and sport tourer a happy rider.

   Dunlop Roadsmart II Features
  • All-new Roadsmart II takes the sport touring tire goals of mileage, sport handling, and wet grip to the next level
  • Outstanding wet-weather performance, linear and responsive handling traits, traction characteristics on par with sport tires and extended tread life—all in one tire
  • Front and rear tread patterns feature long lateral grooves to provide excellent water drainage on wet surfaces
  • Multi-directional sub grooves optimize contact pressure for long mileage, even wear and good water drainage
  • Multi-Tread rear tire incorporates a long-wearing compound in the center of the tire tread and a lateral-grip compound on each shoulder to enhance cornering performance and provide class-leading grip and feel
  • Intuitive Response Profile (IRP) intuitively allows greater latitude in line choice while cornering and provides remarkably linear steering at various lean angles, and puts down a bigger footprint at extreme lean angles, for enhanced grip and handling
  • New cosecant-curve tread pattern helps promote even tire wear and stiffens the pattern for reduced tire squirm and extended tire longevity.

15,000+ miles on the front ....
Excellent tire -- grips well, very comfortable ride, and long-lasting. I finally replaced the front tire at about 15,165 miles, and it still had some but not much tread left on it. Would definitely recommend RoadSmart tires. ,

Good grip but short life
Vehicle: Versys 650 LT (520 lbs + 200 lbs for me and gear)
Rear tire size: 160/60/17
Rear tire lifespan: 5,300 miles.

These are the stock tires on the 2016 Versys 650. I replaced the rear at 5,300 miles with the same type to keep front and rear matched. The second is visibly flattened in the middle after only a month and 1000 miles. And no, I'm not doing wheelies or burnouts. Just commuting across Houston on the freeway everyday.

On the bright side, they grip well even on wet roads. So they aren't bad tires, just really soft.

Great Touring Tires!
I bought these in 2015 for a 6,000 mile road trip. They done very well in rain storms and in the light snow I encountered in the Rocky Mountains. I just purchased these again for a trip I'm taking down south this year. Highly recommend!

great value
when I raced in the 80s and 90s I used Dunlops and always had a great feel and traction as well as excellent wear. These days I ride a sport tour 1100g suzuki, these tires give excellent feel and good wear. I like buying them as a set and have the highest trust in their performance..

I am in awe how much a tire changed my whole ride!
One of my riding friends did all the work on getting it on the bike. Thanks "Big John", He also installed ceramic balancing beads! A Dunlap Roadmaster One came off the bike so, I liked how well it worked,,,,, BOY WAS I SURPRISED!!!!!! Riding in hard rain is "WHAT WATER?".

I have a Suzuki SV1000S. I got 9000 miles on a set the original Roadsmart tires. For the price can't be beat. The performance of these tires have me buying another set. 9,000 miles on a sport bike, excellent grip, and the price makes it no contest.

Vern G on Feb 5, 2017
Read good reviews. middle ground as far as cost and what I am looking for in a set of tires.
Turbitt Z on Oct 12, 2016
Have had excellent results from Dunlop Roadsmart II this is my 4th set on 2 C-14 Kawasakis, an '08 and '11. I've wanted to try other brands; Michelin, Continental, Avon or Pirelli, but don't want to experiment. I gave up on Bridgestones; BT021 and BT023, they get squirrely after about 5-6 K miles on the C-14, but worked well on my ZRX1200.
Kawirider on Sep 23, 2016
Good road wear - mostly commute in city traffic. smooth ride and handles well
