Why the offset tread patter on these tires???

BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! The offset tread design is for better traction, it helps the tire crawl over obstacles as well as bite down on loose terrain whether it's sand, mud or snow. Try to image about each lug on the tire like a small foot or hand, every time the tire comes around the little hand or foot is gripping pushing the vehicle forward, something like you'd see from a baby crawling on the floor, (left, right, left right) same concept. Duro Kaden tires are garbage
these are the worst tires i have ever seen.
treads wore down to less then half in 1200 kms.
and even when new the traction was terrible.
these came from factory on 2016 Arctic cat alterra 700 xt, whih is also a crappy atv.
I should have bought a new polaris.
