I love this tires footprint. Great traction on most surfaces with good tread life. The wider tire allows the bike to stay up on top of sandy conditions.

Steers itself - constant puncture flats
I know people who love this tire and I know people who don't. I have about 150 miles on mine riding Pennsylvania woods and rocky coal mining trails. SETUP: Tubliss running anywhere from 8-10 psi. GOOD: Tire wears great, absorbs large rocks at high speed like a cushion, great off camber traction. BAD: Tends to have a mind of its own - seems to kick and bounce (I have about 85% trust in this tire and how it will behave), constant puncture flats even with slime in tire (I got 4 plugs in now), harder to steer - Upper body never got this sore riding, can only think its from this massive tire up front and fighting it. I have dropped my forks a bit, which seemed to help somewhat and have softened front suspension, but still get bounce. I probably will retire this tire early.

Great tire for Colorado
This tire is great on everything from rocks to sand and mud. I really appreciate the extra diameter over the rocks and it doesn't feel heavy or difficult to turn at all. Best front tire I've had and when the time comes I'll get the rear tire too.

The fatty is the best front tire ever.
Put the GT2 16AA FATTY on my 701 husky endure last month after trying many others. Hands down. The best front tire I have put on an off road bike in 40 plus years.
