REPLACE THE REAR TIRE LIKE IT THAT HAS DEEP CUT IN TREAD TO CORDS USED K60 SCOUT FOR YEARS GREAT ALL AROUND TIRE.
DON'T KNOW WHAT I HIT WITH THE TIRE THAT IS CUT BAD. BUT THE K60 STAYED TOGETHER.

'05 Tiger, All season rider N.Oh, Road/Trail. Sun, Rain, Snow, Ice, Mud, Gravel, Rivers, Hills, (my friends yards late @ night), 19F Degrees, they have done it all well.
I am as much a Road Racer as a MX'r. I ride them hard, on the edge & the wear marks show it. (1 hair over a 1/16th inch from the edge) They break dependably & smoothly on the road if pushing the corners hard. And "Paddle" thru the slop. They have not put a "foot" wrong on rain, snow, or ice covered streets.
& they look badass.
Dan K on May 31, 2018
Good reviews for both street and off road.

The best tires
ruben l on Nov 1, 2017
I purchased my V-Strom used and it came with tires that were much more oriented toward street use than I desired. These tires are more aggressive (50/50 dirt/street) tires which is what I want. The reviews were almost all positive and also stated exceptional wear life which is important to me. I recently mounted these tires and have to say they fit perfect and look great on the bike. The tires have a very different feel than previous tires (that was expected).
Jonathan W on Oct 31, 2017
My 2nd pair. Got around 12k out of the first and could keep going but going on long trip in a few weeks. What can I say...all around great tire.

stephane c on Feb 9, 2017
Great all around tire & got over 9000 miles with my last one.
Walter D on Jan 16, 2017
Absolutely love these tires. Long lasting. Aggressive in the dirt yet last well when I have to road ride. Only downside is due to the harder long lasting rubber, they will slide a bit when breaking hard.
Keith A on Dec 5, 2016
good 50/50 tire. long wearing.
Helen H on Dec 2, 2016
Heard good things about these. Very happy so far. Good pavement grip and stable on gravel.
Craig D on Sep 22, 2016
I do a lot of dirt road riding & the reviews for this tire make me think this will serve my purposes better than any other tire.
James D on Aug 29, 2016
I rode four of the BDR's on these. They worked great on road and off. They are the best 50/50 tire on the market. I bought them again for my F800GS.

The 150/70 x 18 size is listed as a tubeless tire. So, can I install with a tube on a tube type rim? I've just never had to deal with the issue before and don't really know for sure.

What is the speed rating?
g on Aug 6, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! The speed rating varies slightly by size but all K60's are rated for at least 112 mph. Please feel free to give us a call if you have any questions 1-888-339-3888.
How do the 140/80-18 differ from the 150/70-18? Would like to mount on KTM 990 adventure.
CORY S on Jul 25, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for the question. The 140/80 is .55" taller while the 150/70 will be .40" wider. So the 140 will have more sidewall to soak up bumps and the 150 will have a little more tread width. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected]bikebandit.com, Live Chat or by phone toll free at 888-339-3888. Would these tires be a good choice for a Honda 250 Rebel, usage would be 50 50 off road and road usage.
The Wizard on Nov 19, 2012

Long lasting
I have 11k miles on them so far. Can get a couple more. Okay in the dirt and also good on the tail of the dragon.
However..... The front tire is very ,very loud. Louder than anything that I have ever had before. Louder than a d606 !!

Good on and off road
It's on the back of a KLR 650. I ride a lot of pavement and a lot of gravel roads and woods trails. This tire handles it all and feels solid under me. I have about 4000 miles on the tire right now and the tread looks to be about half gone. I'm expecting to get between 8 and 10k miles out of this tire.

They do not live up to the hype.
Twitchy at 90mph and give up fairly easy in the sandy dirt.
Cost wayyyyy too much for what they are so far ... I guess if I can get 10k miles out of them it might be the compromise. We will see.

K60 scouts on a GS
I have now placed on a 4 th set of k60 scouts on my GS. I am a 80/20 rider of tarmac vs. dirt. What I like about these tires are that they are nice looking on the bike with their more aggressive stance, perform well in the dirt being either a trail or fire road, and their mileage. The rear K60 will ride quiet as it has a constant rib down the center of the tire and you will get 9k+ out a rear. I had 14k on my front before I replaced it without being close to the wear bars. They handle well, have a great lean angle, you just have to watch Your exceleration on curves if the tarmac is wet and your crossing a white or yellow line. But, that can be any tire.

MABDR Tires
Mounted on my 91 BMW GSPD to tackle the MABDR, as well as the long ride home on some slab. The tires performed above expectations in both areas, with trail riding in wet conditions this week. Confidence inspiring!
