Best price, but I've worn out several of these tires and am happy with them. They seem to wear quickly, but I ride aggressively and they stick well enough. And, they're on my '91 KLR 250, so there's that.

The tires are a good dual sport tire, ride 70% dirt and these work well in all soil conditions. Side rubber is soft and hard lean angles are not recommended. They feel and ARE very loose at steeper angles.

i have a honda cg125, want the dual sport tire look more over the performance side, but front and rear are 18's. i see someone has already asked if you can but i feel the answer wasn't that clear. what is the major difference between front and rear? surely they can't be that different
A shopper on Oct 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question!, we recommend not to use a rear tire on the front of your machine. Rear tires were not designed to steer or grip the road/dirt when the it is turned like a front tire. Rear tires might look cool and work at low speeds but once the performance comes into effect you'll notice the lack of performance right away by not using the tire in it designated location. We have attached a couple of tires that will work on the front of your bike. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll free at 1-888-339-3888. We are always more than happy to help.

Will k270 5.00-18 fit xt250?
A shopper on Sep 30, 2019
BEST ANSWER: According to our records, the stock rear tire is a 120/80-18 which converts to 4.25" to 4.50". The 5.00-18 should fit the wheel but I cannot guarantee you that it will fit in between the swing arm on the actual bike. Take some measurements and check for clearance room. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. I have a 1980 BMW R100T and have been using it as a dual sport bike . What can you suggest for tires?
John
A shopper on Aug 14, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for the question. Are you still using the original tire and wheel specs? If so, I would recommend a 3.5-19 front and 5.10-18 rear, assuming you have the clearance for the bit of extra room. (No specific brand, just something kind of knobby) If you're set on the Kenda K270 you're going to need a bigger front wheel. IRC also makes really good dual-sport tires. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. A shopper on Jul 17, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for the question. The standard rear size on a 2002 Honda XR650L is actually a 4.60-18. 5.10-18 would work fine, but you might feel a difference with your "turning". Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. Chuck F on Jul 9, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Chuck, thank you for the question. A 110/100 converts to 4.00-4.50" but as long as you have the clearance a 4.60" would work also. Wil 3.50-18 fit to replace a 3.0-18 tire?
A shopper on Jul 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! The 3.50-18 will be half an inch wider than the 3.0-18. If there is enough clearance on your machine you should be fine with a slightly wider tire. I want an off road 2.75-18 front tire for a 75 Honda CB125. This tire states it is for the rear. Why can't this be used in front?
bmo on Sep 15, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. The tread patterns are designed for the rear tire application. The shape of the tire is less rounded. The shape of the front tire will assist in the cornering and turning. For legal reasons BikeBandit.com does not offer mechanical/technical advice. We do offer repair manuals that may provide the info you need to help you solve your problem.
the bike has a 110/80 18inch, what width is it in inches
Johne on Aug 18, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. The comparable size to a 110/80-18 would be a 4.00x18.

Back tire: good. Front tire: "eh", not so much.
I bought a set. The back tire is awesome (5 stars). The front tire has a low place. It's not like a "flat tread" (the tread is fine), but it appears to be out of round. At 5-10 MPH, the front bounces. At speeds higher that 10 MPH, it feels better, but the front fender is really doing a bouncing number, especially with a bag mounted on it. Off road, it's fairly irrelevant, but on the road it's an issue. The front tire only gets two stars. Total review for the pair: 4 stars.

Good dual sport tire!
The Kenda 270's run well on the DR650 set up for mostly trail riding.
So far, I've put 500 miles on the set and they seem to be holding up significantly better than the 606's did.
I often ride the freeway to the trails, ride the trails, and then blaze back.
The Kenda's stick good on freeways and rural Texas pavement, down to the outer set of knobs on the front tire. They handle gravel roads, trails, running over curbs, grass and weeds, potholes and ditches, and even some fair mud.
I haven't tried technical Rocky off-roading up steep hills, or low pressure yet.
For a good price, these tires put a lot of freedom into the dual sport unit.

Decent budget tire, not the best.
Low cost tire but it will not last very long after 200 miles of mixed trails it is definitely starting to wear down, even some small cracks I'm the tread blocks. That's mostly Rocky mountain terrain though. Impressed with the sidewall strength and the overall structure is very stiff good budget tire but will replace with something better

Kenda duel sport k270 review
I put these tires on my KDX 200 that I licensed for part time street riding. So far so good. They are much better on the street then the Mx tires they replaced. I haven’t tested them off road yet. But for what I do I’m sure they will be fine.
