The Mud Bug's extra deep, angled lugs provide traction in deep mud by pushing mud away from tire. The 26" and 27" tire heights provide higher ground clearance, and all sizes are 6-ply rated for greater puncture resistance.

Best all around tire period.
This is my third set of Mud Bugs. I've put them on my last 5 ATV's because they are that good. They are light for a mud tire, they ride as smooth as a stock tire and they are 6 ply so they are very tough. They don't have the deepest lugs, but they don't need it. These tires perform extremely well in mud and snow alike. The lugs wrap around the side of the tire farther than most mud tires and it really makes a difference in rutted out terrain. My friends have tried everything from Mudlites to Mega Mahems and have suffered everything from poor traction to a punishing ride. None have purchased the same brand a second time when upgrading to a different quad which speaks volumes. Some have begrudgingly bought Mud Bugs after their newer, bigger, badder tires didn't live up to the hype. I like these better than the radial version of Mud Bugs and they are cheaper too. For the money, these tires are the best I've found. They are reasonably priced, they perform excellent, they wear very well, they ride smooth, they're very puncture resistant, and they look good too. The only knock against them, is I wish they came in more taller sizes, like 28" and 29".
