Tire was recommended by local dealer for desert riding. I have 40 hours on a 110 rear, its a 50%. At 45 hours switching to a 120, on a YZ 250. I have been very happy with this tire. I am anxious to see how the 120 does.

Put a pair of these on my XR650-R and after 130 miles of riding at Ocotillo Wells, and 70 miles of trail riding in southern Oregon, I'm missing 2 entire knobs out of the centerline and the rest are all cracking at the bases. My last set of tires were Perelli Scorpion MX, and I got 8xx miles out of those without ever losing any knobs.

Long lasting
It is a great all around long lasting tire I would recommend to anyone who rides multiple terrains from hard or soft. I ride at tomahawk WV. and breezewood PA. And Easton MD. And the local trails and power lines stuff and I have no complaints. I used to use a Dunlop D952 but I think this has deeper treads than the D952. I have a 250 2 stroke as we all know they tend to rooster more than 4 strokes and this tire still lasted a long time.

Excellent traction
I have a yz250 with 295 big bore kit. Ive just now found out how much powed this thing really has thanks to this tire. I live in mid Alabama. I dont ride in any competition. I trail ride on all type of terrain and this tire bits better than any other tire ive tried. Im not sure about how well it holds up because i haven't had it long but it seems to be holding up good so far. All dirtbike tires are a pain to install that ive seen so u know about that.

Traction delivered to your front door
I purchased my Maxxis Maxxcross Desert-IT M7305D from Bike Bandit. It is awesome to order the tire after all the shops have closed (since I can never get there before they close), get a good deal on a great tire and have it delivered to your door. Thanks BB !!

Tire handles severe duty in Wyoming and Nevada
I recently installed the second one of this Desert-IT tire. The first tire this season provided 3200+ miles of severe duty in the Bighorn Basin of Wyoming and the Independence Mountains of northern Nevada performing survey with dirtbikes. No flats or inflation problems, the only reason to change the rear is that a lot of highway mileage with low inflation (part of the job) wore the center down to below the wear grooves. I will continue to use these in the sharp rocks and sandy basins of the high western desert with my tubeless wheels.
