Same tires I’m replacing. Good price.
Peter E on Jul 6, 2020
read several reviews, these sound sporty and grippy even when wet. I was never completely happy with the Marathon 888s on my V-rod. The higher curvature profile may be just what I need.

Metzeler has been my favorite motorcycle tire for 35 years . The rubber doesn't get hard after a few thousand miles like Dunlap tires .

I am searching for new tires that get more than 10,000 miles on a front tire and more than 7,000 miles on a rear tire. My Bridgestones have never let me down as far as traction goes, it is just the simple fact that they wear so quickly.
William S on Sep 3, 2019
I like the all weather aspect and the looks of it. It's got good reviews from previous buyers.

I have used Metzeler brand tires in the past and I believe they produce a quality tire.

I have always used Dunlop tires on my harley the last time my mechanic said to try Metzler they were a better tire but all the reviews on the marathon tires were not good. I seen a review on the Cruisetec tire and i thought i would try.

What’s the better touring tire, the cruise tec or the ultra 888 for a bmw 2005 1200rt?
Jim T on Jul 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Hello Jim, thanks for the question! if its mileage you are looking for, the 888 is the one you want, Timothy is right, the CruiseTec is more of a performance-oriented tire. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. I have a 2000 vulcan 1500 nomad fi with metzeler 888. Will the metzeler criusetec handle even better or should I stick with the 888?
Hector R on Feb 10, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for the question! The 888 is meant to last long, hence the name Marathon and the CruiseTec is made for handling performance and cornering stability. If you are looking for a long lasting tire, stick with the 888, but if you want a bit more performance, you should give the CruiseTec a shot. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 180/55/18 & 180/55ZR/18?
A shopper on Sep 19, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for the question! the only difference between those two would be the ZR rating means the tire is adapted for speeds above 149 mph. ZR tires includes the speed ratings V(149mph), W(168mph) and Y(186mph). Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. Best tires for cruiser performance riding
Awesome tires! These things corner like they are on rails! Been out in torrential down pours and hot dry days and I’ve never had any problems with grip. No hint of hydroplaning when riding though standing water on freeway either. The technology in these tires with the higher silica content and dual compound rear tire give excellent grip in all conditions even below 28 deg!

Love them!
Finally got a break in the weather so I could get a good feel in our local mountain/canyon roads on my 2006 Sportster Roadster. I've been through the stock Dunlops, Metzeler ME-880, Avon Venoms and Michelin Commanders. These grip as well as the Avons. I would highly recommend. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because I only have about 150 miles on them and I am waiting to see how many miles I get out of them. I will keep Michelin Commanders on my touring bike but if I get better than 10k out of these on my Sporty I'll be happy and keep them for Bar Hoppin!

Looking forward to many miles on these.
Only have 700 miles on these and have not had opportunity to ride in the rain but feel good so far. Will know more after our trip to Deals Gap in two weeks. Riding a straight line in grooved pavement conditions seems better without the center groove like on the Dunlop e4.
