I've used the Tourance Next several times. I seem to get a few more miles out of them than the others that I've tried. They have very good grip in the rain and very good feel in the corners. I use them on a BMW R1200GS Adventure water-cooled and in 127 thousand miles I've tried several and these are my favorites. I do a lot of two up and loaded riding with my wife as well as solo.

So far I like this road bias tire on my R1200gs since that is where I use the bike. Got a nail in tire and won't chance fixing it. I bought the same tire again so I must like it.
paige P on Apr 13, 2019
I bought it before, worked well for city riding

I have used these tires twice before. Great traction and tread life
Timothy C on Mar 8, 2019
They are on my current bike and seem to be very good tires.
Gary G on Mar 2, 2019
I like and have used Metzelers for last 43K miles on my 1200 GSA with good results. Tires have great grip on road, even in the wet, and handle offload pretty well too. I'm heading out to Big Bend and will put a lot of on-road miles on my tires plus the little off road. This is first time for the Tourance Next and I'm hoping for longer distance and better on road cornering and control.
Richard K on Feb 11, 2019
I previously used these tires on my 2014 Triumph Explorer and was extremely satisfied with their performance.
Jack on Oct 27, 2018
The reviews were positive and they specifically mentioned how well they handled on a Suzuki DL1000 V Strom.
Dennis on Sep 27, 2018
I have used Metzler brand for many years on every bike I’ve owned and found them to be a great product every time.
Jess on Aug 24, 2018
My Michelins are bit noisy on my BMW R1200GSW. I previously had Metzeler tires on a BMW R1100RS and liked the performance and handling. Thought I would try a set on this bike. Plus, the rebate offer is a nice incentive.

Metzeler has made awesome motorcycle tires for many years and my brother just purchased these for his Suzuki Vstrom . Very satisfied. Bike bandit is my go to store for motorcycles parts .
Reggie A on Apr 19, 2018
Lots of folks on the 700 forum noted that this was a low noise tire in addition to the wear and grip attributes
charles v on Sep 16, 2017
Dual compound material.

This is the evolution of the OEM tire on my '14 Triumph Tiger Explorer and they work very well for me.
Chris M on May 5, 2017
high rated by others, looking for a 90/10 dual sport tire ,

Fits my bike. Suits my riding style. Great experience with manufactures previous "biased towards pavement" version of this model, Metzeler Tourance EXP.

Ihave a Triumph Scrambler and the only ones that would fit are a bias front and radial rear....not sure if this is a good mix?
Steve M on Jul 6, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Steve, thank you for the question. Bike Bandit recommends sticking to OEM sizes and specs. If you ask me, I would recommend having radials front and rear. Even if that means looking into a different tire. If you're thinking of mixing the two, try to stick to radial on the rear and and that will allow for either/or up front. If your rear is going to be a bias ply, I would recommend getting a bias ply up front as well. Will these work on my 2016 Harley Roadster? Thanks
Steve S on May 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Steve, thank you for the question. The sizes provided will fit your Harley, however, Harley makes Harley specific OEM replacement tires in collaboration with Dunlop and Michelin for the best handling and performance. I live on a dirt road mud is usually the first amd last thing my bike sees how do these tires handle the mud?
Matthew C on Mar 23, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! This tire is not a knobby tire like on a dirt bike so there will be some slipping and sliding, but if you're just driving down a dirt drive way you should be fine. handle great.
Trail wings,Metzler Tourances first gen,Anakee 2s then 3s.Had to try the "next' ones. No complaints. First gen Tourances the best cornering tires to date though. Anakee 3s best for long wear. The 'next' tires second for cornering and i will see on longevity. Two thousand miles and no signs of wear.

Very good tires
Mounted my new Metzeler Tourance Next tires yesterday. The set I replaced were the same tires so I knew what I was getting. They are good in the rain and have good cornering grip. I put over 7500 miles on the last set after buying this bike used so I don't know exactly how many miles are on them but they held up well on this heavy bile. 2013 BMW R1200GSA

all around great tire
This is my 3rd set of Metzler Tourance Next on my 2006 BMW R1200GS. I ride year round and they perform great in the dry and wet. I typically get 8K or more miles from the rear and up to 14K miles from the front.

Tourance Next
Great tires, allow me to push my GS hard on the corners with a solid connection to the road. Good for 5000 miles. This is my 4th set so obviously I like them.

Great Tires
Replaced my Tourance tires with the new Tourance Next tires. I have 50,000+ miles on my bmw gs, all on the Metzler Tourance tires and these seem to handle better than the others. This is probably due to the dual rubber compound used in the rear tire. I am a satisfied customer.

Replacing worn Torance EXP with NEXT
Looking to replace my Torance EXP tires on my XT1200 and found this as their replacement. Fantastic grip on pavement. Not as much grip as the exp’s off road but seem like they will last longer, which is what I was after as I ride this bike mostly on pavement. Great Price at Bike Bandit as usual. Metzeler is top notch!
