Are these street legal?
A shopper on May 7, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Yes they are DOT approved and legal. The front has very narrow tall knobs. Not a tire you would want to ride on pavement all the time. The rear is awesome, it will hild up to anything. Works great in sand, mud, loam, rocks, pavement. Wears very well and never chunks.
can you please convert 3:00-21 and 4:60 -18 to the metric sizes? I want to replace my stock Dunlops with the Michelin Anakee Wild. Thanks
A shopper on Nov 15, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! The front 3.00-21 converts to 80/100-21 and the rear 4.60-18 converts to 120/90-18. I would like to replace my ac 10 which happens to be a 140/80/18 having trouble finding this size? a 130/80/18 would do also any ideas?
null on May 9, 2011
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question. Another Michelin tire that is comparable to the AC10 would be the M12XC. That is an intermediate/ hard terrian tire and that is available in the 140/80-18. Below there is a link that will bring you directly to the tire. If you have any further questions you can always contact our sales team at 1 888-339-3888. Thanks again and have a great day!

My favorite DOT knobby
I've had this on two big Honda thumpers and it works well if you are forced to ride the highway to the trail.

Great tire
I ran these on a converted Crf 450r 2004 model. The only tires that could hold up and not shred or tear off. Now I’ve put a set on my 2018 Ktm 450Exc 6 days. Not the best street tire, but grips ok, off road it’s awesome and will see if they still hold up like they did in 04’. So far good. Will post mileage when done.

BEST DOT Tire
Killer tires and they are DOT. They are more of a dirt tire than street, but the cops can't bust ya with these on the street.

5 Stars, so far
BikeBandit had these delivered fast! Couple of first impressions; Very aggressive looking tires. A little narrower than I was expecting, but it's probably somewhat to do with the height of the unwarn knobbies. After I installed the tires, I was expecting a bumpy / noisy ride around the block - tires are smooth and extremely quiet on asphalt. Really love that they are DOT / street legal but I'm not expecting the kind of tire life you'd get in something more 50/50 street bais.

Great tire
I used this tire on various types of terrain to sand, mud, rocks, blue groove, and red clay dirt. It hooks up great with a crf230! But lacks in wear. After 2 rides the tread was wearing down and was rounding out really bad. Still recommend to a friend.
