This is my second pair. They do very well on gravel and fairly smooth, quiet on asphalt. got about 9,000 miles on pair

Lots of favorable expert reviews re: performance and durability. Expect it to suit my riding style -- mostly pavement with occasional gravel roads, but seldom if ever any trail riding. We shall see...

various reviews. the last set I had were Avons, which I liked a lot, but the mileage was somewhat below expectation. This is a new version of the Anakee which looks good.

want an 80/20 tire for my R1150GS and like the reviews on this tire. Also like the Michelin products I've used in the past.

I've had good luck with the Anakee Wilds (knobby) on my 1200GS. I'm hoping these are equally as good but for a long, more street-oriented trip. I loved the Anakee IIs, but the Anakee III sucked for me (YMMV), so I'm trusting Michelin has gotten this one right for mostly street, some dirt use.

They are the Newest tire on the market, and needed new tires. So I'm going to try them
Sam H on Apr 26, 2019
Great reviews for being a capable off-road tire and exceptional on-road tire with long wear. Good compromise.
Robert W on Apr 19, 2019
I like the tread pattern, it's an 80/20 tire, and the reviews were good.

I find Michelin tires in general to the best tires in the market, motorcycle, car, period. I just purchased a GS and need a tire that performs well on pavement (wet and dry) but also does ok on gravel, fire roads, etc. I have very good experience with Michelin street tires, so I hope this won't disappoint.
olaf r on Apr 3, 2019
Ran Michelin ankee tires on my previous motorcycle (R1200gs) and was very happy with how they lasted and performed in the twisties.

Evolution from amakee 3 to the adventure tire. Plus Michelin is a sponsor of the GS Giant program.

Sale price is really good! And I trust the Michelin brand.

Can I use them on 2018 Africa twin adventure sports Which requires tubes?
A shopper on Oct 31, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Sure - I am pretty sure it's always ok to put tubes in a tubeless tire. But it's not ok to go tubeless in a tube-type tire because tube-type tires have a bead that'll give less of a seal since the bead seal isn't needed in a tube application. So I'd say you're good to go! I absolutely love this tire, BTW. On and off road.

BikeBandit and Anakee
BikeBandit delivered during the Covid period when staffing was short, orders hi, and riding season in full swing. The Anakee went on the bike nice, and so far (only about a hundred miles) are riding great.

great on road
Just under a thousand miles. Solid tire on road. Quite on the straights, hums in the leans. So what. Been in the mud, sand and gravel. The rear tractors on. Gravel rolls under front . Still feels good. Mud and sand, front tire wanders without nobs of the TKC80s I replaced. I like these tires for the 80/20 that fits me. I will buy again.

Great tires!
Wow! Great tires period. I had Shinko 804/805’s on my F650GS and these have made my motorcycle so much more stable and secure to drive. It feels like a different motorcycle! Great shipment and fast service from Bike Bandit.

smooth and quiet
Put these on my '15 1200 GSA before 2400 mile trip. Loaded for camping. Smooth and quiet was first response. Did a fair amount of good dirt roads. Handled the dirt well. Grip was good on the twisties. Not showing much wear yet. Love these tires!
