I'm buying a mag wheel for the front of my Wide Glide it's 21x3.50 wider then the stock spoke wheel 21x2.15 need to know what tire to buy?
Ron m on Dec 27, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! You'll definitely need a tire that will accept a 21" wheel the width is the part you'll need to convert over. Tire sizes are made up of three numbers, for example 215/65-15. The 215 number is width of the tire in millimeters. the 65 is the aspect ratio meaning that the height is equal to 65% of the tire's width. You'll simply need to convert the width of a tire over to inches. You'll be able to go with a tire 30mm wider that what you were using when you had the 21x2.15 wheel. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll free at 1-888-339-3888. raymond S on Aug 28, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Hello Raymond, the tires should not cause your Roadstar to wonder above 50 mph. Please contact the shop you had the tires installed at. It could be a number of reasons why this is happening, the wheels could have not been aligned correctly when they were put back on the machine, the tires could have been balanced incorrectly or not at all. We urge you to contact the installer immediately for safety reasons. rim width for this tire ?
A shopper on Jun 8, 2017
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! The width of each tire varies. The easiest way to find out the width is to look at the first number from the three number sequence, that first number is the width of the tire in mm. For example a tire with the size 150/80-16 means it's 150 mm wide, 80% 150mm tall and will accept a 16" wheel. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll free at 1-888-339-3888. BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. Yes this Michelin Commander II will fit your Switchback. Both tires are a Bias Ply construction and have very similar load indexes/speed ratings. This will be an excellent tire for your Harley Davidson. BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. No these do not have the load index required for the bike. The tire will need to be reinforced tires. What are the front and rear tire sizes? I can verify the load index of any tires for you.

Great long lasting tire
These tires are a little harder than most so they really last. The handling has been good too.

Good confidence building tires
My last experience with Michelin was with a VFR1200f - for that bike I got the PR4's. Great tire, great mileage, and I loved the dual compound. I was hoping to get the same tires for my VT1100 Shadow, but they didn't come in my size, so I settled for the Commander 2, looking for the same high mileage. Cant yet comment on the mileage, but they work so well with this style bike. I'd definitely recommend them for cruising.

Great grip and smooth ride
Broke the tire in then put it through its paces. Hard scraping turns, 85 mph speeds, and rough roads. Everything was as good as expected. we will have to wait and see on the mileage. Just for info my Dunlop factory tire was at 14000 miles when i picked up a self tapping sheet metal screw. The sidewalls are so strong that I rode it home flat and the head of the screw was worn off. Of course I took it easy and but the scuff marks on the tire showed a lot of unusual wear. I wish I had taken pics.

Great heavy tire! 1/2 oz to balance!!! Looks GREAT! Love the tread pattern, feel secure with a good amount of grooves right out to the edge. Bike looks BOSS with matched pair!
