Michelin Pilot Road 2 Motorcycle Tire. Until now, you had to make a choice: the grip of a softer tire - or the durability of a harder tire? But thanks to Michelin 2CT dual-compound technology, MICHELIN® Pilot® Road 2 tires offer both grip and durability in one tire. By integrating a soft rubber compound on the tread shoulders with a wear-resistant compound down the middle, Michelin gives you the best of both worlds. The Pilot® Road 2 tire is like two tires in one.

I really like the aggresive look towards these, but also feeling the wet and dry amazing grip while riding. Be careful.. Take a little to warm up.

Michelin Pilot Road II's absolutely blew me away on my FJR1300.
Back when I had a cruiser, I soon found out that I was probably gonna die if I kept riding the Dunlop cruiser tires, Even even the "better ones" with the little bar and shield on them. A buddy suggested Michelin's and the improvement was dramatic. Superior wear and traction wet or dry. Last year I sold the cruiser and bought a lightly used 2004 Yamaha FJR1300 supersport tourer. I immediately ordered a set of Michelin Pilot Road II's. I never owned a heavy bike with that much power and torque before. 640 lbs wet, 145 hp, 99 ft lbs.
I didn't expect much more that you would get out of a sport bike tire, but they were PERFECT for the big bike. They handled and stopped exceptionally well wet or dry, and they handled the torque coming out of the corners. It was a great season here up in Western New York and I finished the year with 9,000+ miles. Both tires wore extremely uniformly and in unison. The dual compound worked perfectly on both tires. They even used different compounds for front and rear! These guys have it dialed in! They are relatively inexpensive as far as the better tires are concerned, $280 a set. I couldn't be happier that both tires lasted a whole season and rode me to the end safely, just hitting the wear bar on the front tire at the end of the season. (she's a chubby babe, LOL) If I can repeat this year after year, there would be no reason in the world to even try another tire. I am completely sold.

Great Tires
I bought the front tire first and I noticed a huge difference in the way my bike handled, I just ordered the back tire and I know it is going to grip the road well. I would definitely recommend these tires to anyone looking for a good grip to the road and long lasting rubber.

Favorable Experiences with the Michelin PR2
This PR2 purchase is the fifth for my Concours 14. I get an average of 9,600 miles to the wear bars. Then, I remove the tires. They are always at 41-42 psi to keep them from cupping.

Good grip wet or dry.

No issues.
