Good Sport Touring Tires
After a 5,500 mile trip on a laden R1100RS, I've come to really appreciate these PR3s. I rode on a mix of slab and back roads, in hot weather and some rain, and they performed well. Looks like they still have a few thousand miles left on them. They are getting squared off ( the profile actually looks more like half a decagon ), so cornering transitions aren't as smooth as when new, but that's to be expected. They've held air well; I had to top them up 3 times in 3 weeks of travel between 8,000ft, sea level, and back. While I was happy with my previous PR2s, I think these are a step up all in all.

This is the 3rd Mich R.P.3 front tire purchase for my F650CS (a 50hp single cylinder touring bike for me).
1st rolled 21,000 miles and 2nd rolled 26,000 miles.
Never short of traction in rain or shine; 99% pavement use.
I pair this front with a MPR4 rear tire for excellent feel/handling.
I plan to use this combination as long as they are available.

Michelin pr3 are great bikebandit not-so-great
I've used Michelin pr3 for quite a few years I love them they work great. Bikebandit however did not communicate very well after the purchase, like most vendors they did not send me information about when I would receive my purchase. Bike Bandit could stand to do more work around customer service.

These are the best tires I've ever had. Performance in wet and dry is excellent and the wear characteristics are outstanding. I got 18K miles on my last front and 14K from the rear (on a CB1100). It's a shame Michelin is discontinuing this model. I don't need tires yet, but I'm ordering them while I still can.

BEST ANSWER: With the exception of the front 110/80-19, all are W rated, which is speeds up to 168 mph. (the 110/80-19 is a V rating, speeds up to 149 mph.)

Is this tire a hard or soft rubber. Will this tire be compatable with a Bridgestone 130/70-18 excedra max. I have a Yamaha 1900 Stratoliner 2009.

BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! This is a dual compound tire, harder in the midddle for longevity and softer on the shoulders for grip. Normally it is recommended to stick with the same styel and brand tire for front and rear. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
