I purchased these last time I needed to replace my tires and my experience has been good coupled with the qualities stated for these tires makes it a safe choice
John A on Jan 28, 2020
It matches my rear tire.Michelin makes great tires and feel safe as one can be with these under me.
Glen M on Jan 12, 2020
I have used Michelin tires on all my vehicles for years now. They have superior handling and tread life. I choose this particular tire for My Nt700v for the side wall thickness. when cornering hard with the factory battle axes on this bike it feels like the tires are giving and the front tire is driftimg to the outside of the turn. scary feeling.
Paul a on Jan 12, 2020
They’re awesome! I got 11k miles on my last set!

J L on Sep 13, 2019
Because it's the the same set of motorcycle tires I had on previously and they are superior to any other brand I've tried, both in handling and tire wear, they last a long time !!

Don M on Aug 26, 2019
Because they are supposed to have very good rating for wet roadways and i need that in the area I ride.
Carl O on Aug 4, 2019
Better mileage with the GT model vs the standard Pilot 4 on my 2012 Concours. I got over 15K miles on the GT and only 10K on the standard Pilot 4's. <br />I will buy the Pilot 4 GT again unless a better tire is made.
Robert C on Aug 3, 2019
Hoping to get better than the 8000 miles from the Battlaxes.
Daniel L on Aug 2, 2019

gregory b on Jul 25, 2019
I've got good history with Michelin and there are good reviews of this tire for my bike. I think it's well designed and made with a hard compound in tire tread center.
Don S on Jul 20, 2019

Dean K on Jun 1, 2019
I ride a 2007 BMW 1200GT. It's a heavy sport tourer and the 4 GT gives me a sticky tire that lasts a bit longer than any other tire I've used in the past. This will be my third set of GTs and my 7th set of Pilot Road tires.
William M on May 22, 2019
Grip ride and mileage.
Gowing01 on May 19, 2019
Like the treads, & good reviews
T E on May 7, 2019
I've been riding on Michelin tires for quite a while and had very good luck. This will be the first that I have tried the "GT" version which looks like it may last for more miles, I just hope they stick as well as the regular version (PR 4's) that I have been using. PS: just turned 93K on my R1200RT today.

Trying to decide between the pilot 4 and the pilot 4 GT. Are there different uses/applications. I live on the west coast of Canada....so a fair share of wet weather. And I'm often with a passenger and luggage.
The bike is a 2003 bmw 1150 rt.
Thanks
Jonathan
Or perhaps you'd recommend a different tire altogether?

I bought a set of Michelin GT fours for my motorcycle so 97 Suzuki Bandit 1200 S the owner's manual says 36 PSI but on these tires it says 42 pounds cold front and rear what should I run?
A shopper on May 7, 2017
BEST ANSWER: I have a Yamaha FJR1300 that I run these on. My bike originally came with Bridgestone BT023's and my manual says to run 36F 42R. I did that for a year or two and those tires (mainly front) wore out at about 5k miles. I now run Michelin's at 42F 42R and get about at least 10K out of them. The general consensus with FJR owners is to run 42/42. My belief is to run what's on the tire.
red dot on tires?
h c on Aug 21, 2019
BEST ANSWER: I am not sure if you are asking if there are red dots on tires, which is yes, there are, or if you are wondering why they are there. That red dot means it should align with the tire air valve. This is a slightly lighter section of the tire to match the added weight of the air valve.
How do you fit 17" tires on 16" rims on my 2004 FLHTCUI?
A shopper on Jun 22, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Now that’s funny. You don’t!
what does load index mean?
A shopper on Jul 24, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for the question! Load index is the numerical value used to know how much weight your tire can carry fr example, the Michelin Pilot Road 4 GT Motorcycle Tire size 120/70-17 has a load index of 58 lets you know that the tire is able to approximately carry 520lbs and the 120/70-18 has a load index of 59 that can carry approximately 536lbs. It's Like Riding a Ball
This is my 3rd set of Pilot Road 4 GT tires. The first 2 sets were on a Honda ST 1300. They worked so well that I now have a set on my 2003 BMW R1150R. WOW! GREAT HANDLING! Glad I found a set because they were replaced by the Road 5 and I was already sold on the Road 4. Neutral steering and rolls side to side effortlessly. It's a BALL !!!

I got 5,000 more miles with the GT than standard Pilot 4
I have a 2012 Concours and average about 10,000 miles per set of tires except for the Pilot 4 GT tires. I got 15,000 miles on my previous set. The original OEM Battleax 21 tires gave me 6200 miles on the front, 7180 miles on the rear.

I just bought another set of GT's with 39347 miles on the motor.
