Why did you choose this?
BikeBandit Store
Good selection, good customer information, good pricing.

Have had them on another bike. Like how they ride and handle. They are load noise wise, though. The other bike is a Honda NC700X. Had 14,00 miles on the set before replacing them. This set is for a 2009 Yamaha T-MAX

Had some older Pilots on my Tmax when I ran over something an it put a 1" slice in the back tire. Those Mitches lasted over 10,000 miles and still had a few thousand left.

What mileage could you get with these tires?
Gilles M on Aug 6, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The question you are asking is not a realistic one. There are too many variables involved such as air pressure, type of pavement you ride on, weight of the bike, weight of the rider, how aggressive the rider rides, and weather conditions. My tire is on the front of a three wheel Trike. The weight distribution is going to be different than if it was a two wheeler. I also ride on mostly rural hwy roads and city type streets which are easier on it than gravel roads. I think you can get the picture from what I have written. There is no absolute answer to your question.

No reason to believe they won't be as good on my 650 as they have been on my 1300

Great for front
These tires are fantastic wet weather tires. However I had read some reviews that said the rear tire is squirrelly. I first replaced my front with the Pilot 4 and it was awesome. So when I picked up a nail in my rear, I replaced it with another Pilot 4, dismissing the reviews as bike dependent. But sadly, I felt my rear tire squirreling in turns. You get a very brief feeling the bike is going to lean more than you wanted and not in your control. I never lost traction, but it's an unnerving feeling. Took my bike to a shop to inspect the bike to make sure it was actually the tire and it was. I would very much recommend it as a front tire, but a newer rider like me would be better off with something else on the rear. Confidence is everything when riding and if a tire erodes your confidence, bad things will happen.
