Product Details

The Pirelli Angel GT is the newest addition to the Italian tire manufactures lineup. Boasting 15 percent more mileage than the Pirelli Angel ST without sacrificing performance. Pirelli has labeled this as "Performance Mileage." The primary design was to provide regular wear and excellent water drainage guaranteed by both the front tires and by the new groove design on the rear. Pirelli is using a dual blend compound that allows for high mileage in the center with a higher percentage of silica on the sides offering maximum performance, even in wet conditions.

Pirelli Angel GT Features
-Ideal for sport riders looking for increased mileage without sacrificing grip and traction
-Extended Mileage Sport (EMS) tires provide best-in-class for mileage and grip
-Rear tires feature new Bi-compound formula improves cornering traction.
-"A Spec" rear tires feature a reinforced, 2-ply carcass.
      -Improved wet grip.
      -Tubeless
-(W)-rated for speeds of 168+ mph

They lasted over 10k miles on my Honda Superhawk, so I'm putting them on my VFR.
Dave A on Jun 12, 2019
Great tire. Grip and mileage
Brian B on Jun 4, 2019
I have had good results with this tire on the rear of my 1994 BMW R1100RS. Michelin does not make a rear to fit the rear of my bike so I have to run two different brands to get the mileage I want.
Dean K on Jun 1, 2019
I’ve used the Angel ST for years on my Hayabusa and loved them. Glad to see the upgrade in the GT.
Josh F on May 22, 2019

It was as described
Dave I on Apr 7, 2019
These A-Spec Angel GTs get me almost double the mileage of previous sport touring tires I've used for my FJR1300. I buy 2 fronts to wear out 3 rears. Those 5 tires will get me 24k miles. All other brands I get 4k miles on a rear tire, vs 8k (or more) with these. I hope they stay in production a long time.
Don G on Apr 1, 2019
Needed a replacment for the stock tires, and these come highly recommended, as I don't use my bike as a dual sport.
Brian M on Mar 23, 2019
About my 3rd set on a 2005 VFR800 - take a couple of long trips per year, and doing track days, and the tires perform great for both - I get 10k miles per set; replacing annually.
Ted J on Mar 16, 2019
Mostly because I’m used to them. I’ve run them on several bikes. They’re surprisingly grippy for tires that consistanty get around 5000 miles. I usually wear the rear slightly faster than the front but I always replace them in pairs.
Nathan C on Mar 13, 2019
I liked the review about wet weather riding and these tires.

Thomas G on Nov 25, 2018
This will be my second set of the Angel GT's mounted on my FZ1. Clocked over 10K miles on the current set, and if weren't for that nail I picked up, the rear would have lasted even longer. Side Strange Note: the front is wore quicker than the rear.
John W on Nov 25, 2018
Been running Metzer for years. A friend had these not one bad thing to say about these. Way not

This will be my fourth set, once I switched to Pirelli St then GT sport touring tires I had no need to look further. The GTs wear better than the STs but both turn in beautifully and handle with ease. Love these tires.

What is A spec verses Standard?
A shopper on Sep 27, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! The "A Spec is intended for heavier bikes because of it thicker carcass. I have a 2001 Harley duce how do they hold up with Heaver bikes?
A shopper on Aug 19, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. These tires were designed to offer a higher mileage life, these tires were also designed for sport bike applications. Since an HD Duce is much heavier than a typical sport bike the results might not be the same. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll free at 1-888-339-3888. I have a 98 Honda vfr 800 and this is the third set of pirelli
Angel gt tires I have had on this bike.
To me these are the best handling, longest wearing tires I’ve had. When this set wears out, I will install another set of angel gt’s!

Great tires
i put 27,000 miles on my Ducati Hypermotard in 4 years, and installed Diablo Rossi II's, Michelin pilot 4's, Bridgestone Battle ax's, and had just installed Angel GT's, when I sold the bike and purchased a 2012 Multistrada with low miles,(1249). This new bike had the original tires on it. Needless to say, New tires were my first priority. I chose the Angel GT's as I liked the way they felt in the corners over the others, and I don't ride in wet weather. I believe they are a great tire at a good value.

9500 miles on my H2 SX SE
I love these tires. I managed to get 3500 miles out of the stock rubber on my H2 SX SE. I now have 9500 miles on the Angel GT A Spec's and will get about another 1000 miles out of them before I put another set on. No complaints what so ever. Most of my riding is highway but I also do a fair share of winding roads. These handle like the bike is on rails. Rain is also not an issue. They handle great in the wet.
