I have had this tire before. It performed as well as advertised on wet and dry pavement and exceeded my expectations off road.

Best over all reviews for how I ride. I prefer grip to longevity and ride mostly asphalt with some gravel logging roads. be. Riding in western Oregon also requires a wet tarmac tire and this tire has a good rep for wet grip. We will see.

Bike Bandit was the only supplier that had the RS front and rear and I needed both. Also, I looked around for other tires for more tread life, but there really weren't any. Plus these just look so right on the bike!

my original rear tire is 160 80 16, can I use this MT 60 rs 150/80 16? do I need make any modifications?
A shopper on Aug 23, 2018
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question. The 150/80-16 will be slightly smaller and you should be ok, but we recommend using the original tire size for safety and performance reasons. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll free at 1-888-339-3888. I just need a new front tire right now. Is there any reason why I can't change brands or even style at this time (as long as it's the right size?)
A shopper on Jun 21, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Generally I do not like to mix tires but there are circumstances that weren’t an exception
If I mix tires I prefer to replace a tire with another that keeps the general balance of weight bias front to back.
So purchasing a tire with the same profile helps
Typically a 17 inch tire is measured by the first number on the tire, usually the number is 120. The second number could be a 60 or 70 or an 80 and that corresponds to how tall the tire is. Usually low profile tires should be run together as they were designed to.
Especially with adventure bikes there can be more variation as someone may prefer a street tire and another rider prefer an off-road tire. The off-road tires typically have a taller profile. So generally if I’m not replacing a set I will at least try to put it’s similar tire on as a replacement. If you were riding on the street primarily you will love the MT60
HOW OLD ARE THIS TIRES FOR THAT PRICE?
A shopper on Apr 11, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! Unfortunately, we are not able to guarantee that but we do know most if not all our tires are usually within a year of the manufacture date. We do not stock large amounts of tires at our location so most tires are shipped directly from the tire manufacturer's closest warehouse to you. This would be the freshest stock they have on hand that is being shipped from these locations. We, unfortunately, we do not have a way to verify which date you would get on your tire. All tires sold by BikeBandit.com are well within the manufacturer's suggested shelf life for tires. Please let us know if there is anything else we can assist you with.
What is the size and the weight? I need this info for international shipping. Thanks.
Jihyun L on Apr 23, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Jihyun, thank you for the question. Unfortunately, we are not provided the specifications of the weight on the Pirelli MT 60-RS. I visited the Pirelli website also and they do not have that information displayed. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. Great tires for back country roads
I have to deal with sand and gravel sprinkled on the asphalt, often in intersections and on curves. Mostly due to intersecting dirt roads and farm entrances, or where the winter road sand is still around. Street tires work poorly on these mixed surfaces as a little sand and gravel act like tiny ball bearings between the tires and the road.

These MT60 RS tires are the best I have had on the bike by far. All those tread block edges cut through the sprinkling of sand and gravel on the road surface and grip the asphalt. The nice rounded shape provides a great feel to the bikes handling. Ride comfort is good too. These tires are stock sizes, however, they are a bit bigger due to the deep wrap-around tread. The tires are great on normal clean paved roads. They don't make any objectionable noise and they grip the road securely wet or dry. I don't know about tread life yet as they are too new.

super great dual sport tires for big bikes
these tires just got mounted on my wife's versys 650 and my versys1000. We are not road riders per se but dual sport riders. These tires gave us the confidence we were looking for to ride some Colorado dirt passes ( nothing gnarly, just fun). So wow, these tires are great. Western Colorado has gravel on pavement and these tires put us back to where we are very comfortable on our mountain twisties

Great Replacement for Stock Scrambler Tire
I love the performance of this tire and my first one lasted 6,000 miles (should have replaced a little sooner but it held up great). I will continue to run these, especially at the great price BikeBandit sells them at!

Good tires for the Ducati Scrambler!
Desperately needed new tires and these are great! Knobby enough for light off-roading but a capable road tire.

Good tires
Great tire, came stock on my Scrambler and I'm buying another set. Good grip in wet and dry, and does fine on light off roading.
