Great tires for fZ 07
Recently Bought Shinko Slicks 008 slicks for my FZ07R . Decided to do a track weekend at Sonoma Raceway Season opener ,temperature was about mid to lo 60 all weekend. Mainly bought them for the price . Little nervous before purchasing due to the fact everyone on forums were bashing on Shinko but i gave them a try anyways. Really impressed with these tires once hot, never lost grip even throughout turns. My confident grew with every session .Only down side is they take a while to heat up compared to others . I used tire warmers and did 2 warm up laps before hauling a** and they perform just fine. Tires are rated V,149 MPH max . The fz 07 is perfect for these tires for the reason the fz 07 does not reach such speeds. Would buy again .Tire Size 120F and 180R with PSI 30 F 25 R Hot(still trying figure the right pressure, there is no information online)
Front size 120 PSI 30 when hot
Rear size 180 PSI 25 when hot

Good if hot
Ridden lots of track days and sprint races with them on SV650, DRZ400SM, and KTM 690 SMR. Very good when HOT using tire warmers and high ambient temps. Absolute death on cold surfaces (50-60F ambient) and feels like riding on ice.
