Product Details

Shinko off-road motorcycle tires feature a high carbon compound. The 540 Series tires are designed for extremely soft terrain, like mud and sand. The wide spaced knobs shed mud quickly, and the tall, aggressive tread pattern provides increased traction in super soft terrain.

So far so Great
I was a little skeptical about buying an inexpensive tire to race on for my son's YZ85 so he's used it in practice a few times and so far so good. I would give them a 5 but we haven't had them long enough to say how durable they are… a couple more weeks will tell.

Awesome tread pattern
The tire has soft knobs which protrude to the moon! Wonderful for sand. Excellent tread pattern.

Good Traction, But....
I have this tire on my XR400 and really like the traction so I bought one for my KTM 250 XC-W. The problem is this tire is very difficult to mount. The two beads are so stiff and close to each other that it took 45 minutes for me to install the rim lock and then get the valve stem in. Almost bloody knuckles. I'll have to think twice about getting another one.

This tire works perfect for where we ride, mostly trails and fields. Good traction and treadwear so far. I would purchase again.

Excellent Tire !
My 2 sons have tried using these at my suggestion.
They are both advanced riders. They love this tire ! It works excellent in sand and on loose loamy conditions. My younger one actually attributes his holeshots that he gets off a cement based gate to the tire.
I would highly recommend this tire.
