Price and Reviews.

This will be the first time I'm replacing tires on my own and was trying to save the most money while still getting a quality product. As Shinko bought the Yokohama molds back in '98, I'm completely comfortable going with these tires.
Josiah R on Apr 1, 2019
I have had excellent luck with these tires they always run very true and balance very well. I've only had a small balance issue with one dirt bike tire so small I let it go.. all street bike tires balance out very well no weight at all. just a great tire for a great price.

PAUL N on Feb 7, 2019
Great price and great reviews. For the price I am going to give this tire a shot. I like the tread deign. I have no idea how I am going to like it. I have a few bikes and usually stick to Dunlops and Avons.
Kurt H on Jan 23, 2019
I love this site. Great products at great priced
I S on Jan 22, 2019
It's cheap
Allen S on Jan 13, 2019
The price is cheap and I am not purchasing these tires for performance. After reading the reviews it seems this is a good tire brand that isn't over charging for a basic tire. It is for a 650 that is antique and I just want to ride! If they work out, I will most likely continue using this brand for some of my other small non-performance bikes.
Chris P on Jan 12, 2019

Mostly I use Dunlop tires and I was a little suspicious, but the reviews won me over. Doesn't hurt that it saved me quite a bit of money over the D404 tires I was looking at for my '83 GR650.

do these fit a 1978 cb550 ? can you hi-light those that do fit this model ?
Razor on Jun 10, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! Your front tire cross references to a 90/90-19 and your rear tire cross references for a 110/90-18. The rear will work, the closest front size we will have available is a 100/90-19 which is about 10mm wider.
I have a 130 / 80/ 17 on a dx500 Ninja. I only see a 130/90/17 on the shinko 712 tire list. Will that tire work on my bike.
Thanks.
null on Jun 1, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Good question! That size difference will be a taller aspect ratio(profile of tire) by 10mms. So you would have to measure to see if you can accomodate the taller tire and still clear fender ok.
my question is i have a 79 suzuki gs425 and the tire size on there now is the front is a 3.50-18 and the rear is 4.00-18 so i am wondering will 100/90-18 work on the front and will a 120/90-18 work on the rear

I have a 1978 kawasaki KZ 650b2a that i just purchased and i am just a little confused on the tire sizes. My owners manual calls for 3.25h-19 4pr or ml90-19 b2 for the front. and 4.00h-18 4pr or mn90-18 b4 for the rear. I also need tubes. Are these old sizes or what.If they are, what are the new sizes that i need to fit the bike.P.S. They are spoke wheels. This is what is holding me back from ordering new tires. Thanks N.O.B
N.O.Biker on May 17, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your Question! Tire size 3.25X19 = 100/90X19 Front & 4.00X18= 110/100X18 Rear. What we did is convert your tire size in Inch to Metric.

i am thinking about buying a matching set of these for my nighthawk 250 bobber. I have stock spoked wheeles and tube tires now. I know these tires say "tubeless" but is it acceptable running tubes inside them and will i have a problem with them sealing on the rim? and if so what size tubes? 130 90 16rear 100 90 18 front. thanks
CBbobber on May 6, 2012
BEST ANSWER: thank you for the question! You can do it, all the manufacturers might say is to consider the speed range dropped by one level. Like a V should be considered an H - not good if you plan to ride around at 140 mph all day long, but no biggie for those of us who stay under 80 most of the time.
The big difference at this point between a tubeless and tube tire is a coating added within the tubeless tire as a sort of liner to absolutely seal the carcass. The tube type might actually be sealed, but it is not absolutely engineered to be sealed against air leakage.
Is there any chance these are blems?
null on May 4, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! These would not be blems they are new perfect condition tires.
I have a 1978 Honda xl350 with a rear tire size of 4.0x18. I believe the 120/90-18 is the same size, can you confirm? thanks!

BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! The conversion would be closer to 110/90/18 for this size.

up the punx on Mar 9, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! Yes the 100/90-18 will work perfectly for the front and i would go with the 110/90 for the rear.
