The price weighed heavily on my decision, but, being that I had a set of Shinko’s ( that a very well respected mechanic in Mill Valley Ca by the name of Bill Dietrich recommended) on a 650 Kawasaki Versys and was throughly satisfied , pretty much did it for me.

What’s the difference between a 180/60-16 and a
180/65-16 ?
A shopper on Feb 8, 2018
BEST ANSWER: The 60 will have a slightly shorter side wall. The 180 is the width (180 mm), the 60 (or 65) is the side wall in percentage relative to the width, So the 60 sidewall is 60% of the 180 width, and of course the 65 is 65% of the sidewall width. So for instance a 100/60 is 100 mm wide and 60 mm sidewall (60% of 100). And the wheel size of course is the 16 portion. Hope this helps.

Quality, price, and better grip on wet or sandy roads. What's not to like? Great tire. Will buy again.
Love these tires. Grip on sandy roads and in the rain. Way quieter than my last tires. You can't beat the price. Fastest shipping I've had.

Shinko SE890
I bought the Shinko SE890 rear tire for my Honda Valkyrie Interstate. The tire has better handling characteristics than the Avon cobra that I replaced. Now The Avon cobra went 11000 miles before needing to be replaced. We will see how long the shinko last and how it wears.

Decent tire and a good price.
The price is right and they are not made in china. They're made in Korea. Compound seams like they will last awhile on my 950lbs beast.
