I run these shinko sr241 tires on a couple of my vintage bikes, they're inexpensive but have great grip on road or trails. Like any trials-type though they don't do well in mud or sticky clay.

Outside diameter is critical on my Trials bike due to the closely-mounted fender. These appear to be most like the original tires.

I have a 1982 Yamaha it 465 and live in the mountains mostly hard packed clay what would be a good fit for up here?
Jason G on Oct 20, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Jason, thank you for the question. The Shinko SR241 are decent, I would also recommend the Shinko 700 or Conti Twinduro TKC80 tires. That machine originally came with 3.00-21 front and 5.60-17 so I based my recommendation off of those sizes. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. will this fit my 2007 crf70f with stock rims?
Jesse C on Jan 5, 2020
BEST ANSWER: Hi Jesse, thanks for the question! Your CRF70F will have a front tire size of 2.50-14 and a rear tire size of 3.00-12. Your front tire size is not offered for this tire but you can fit a 2.75-14 on the front. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. We are always more than happy to help.
Can 2.50x17 front and 2.75x17 rear tires fit on my 1981 Honda hobbit? Standard is 2.25 front and 2.5 rear. Will 0.25 inches make that much of a different in fit?
A shopper on Sep 10, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for the question. The tires will fit your wheels but you need to take some measurements to check for clearance! It does not sound like much of a difference but it really is. Not only will they be wider but might be a little taller as well. You may or may not need to trim the fender (probably not something you want to do to that bike if you have it in its stock form). Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. We are always more than happy to help.
I currently have the Pirelli MT 43 4.00x18 and it's too much tire for my needs. (too tall) How does the SR241 compare to it in profile and circumference?

Is the shinko sr241 d.o.t? and how wide is the 4.00 x 18 compared to the shinko 244 4.10 tire? thank you
scottee on Aug 3, 2012
BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! We show the product description for this tire does list it being DOT-approved. We show the width for both of those tire sizes would be the same.

Great all-around tire
This tire works well in all conditions, its not the greatest off road tire, its not the greatest road tire, but it probably is one of the best all-around tires I have ever ridden. Works good on and off road.

Love this tire on my little bike
I run these on a 1972 Kawasaki 100. Perfect tire for this little machine, the trials-type tread works well on all surfaces especially hard-packed dirt and rocks. Smooth on the road too (but I can't comment on speeds above 48mph!)
