What millimeter thickness is this tube?
AllYamaha on Jan 31, 2010
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! We have checked on this for you and do not show bridgestone offering this specification on the tubes they offer. We do apologize as this would be a standard thickness tube.
Likewise, I need a heavy duty tube for a 80/100-21 tire.

What size tube should I order for this tire?

BEST ANSWER: Thanks for your question! When ordering the Bridgestone Heavy Duty Motocross Tubes you can go ahead and stick with your stock sizing and that will work out just fine for you.
What tube is one size smaller than my 100/100-18 tire?

I would like to order a heavy or ultra heavy duty tube and I am not sure which dimension you are suggesting that I make one size smaller. The 100/100 has never made sense to me. I do understand 18".

Bridgestone Heavy Duty Motocross Tube
I've been running these Bridgestone heavy tubes for almost 20 years now and have never once had a pinch or flat. I once drove for 10 rides with these tubes with a 2" finishing nail right through the center of the back of my XR400R tire and only noticed it while offloading the bike after seeing the shiny metal head. Spend the extra money and you won't have to worry as much about flats.

Good tube
I think the tube would be fine, but I pinched it during installation and it leaked as soon as I aired it up. I pulled it out and saw my mistake. Be careful when you install to not pinch it and have to throw it away. What a waste :( My bad!

Good Product
I switched to heavy-duty tire tubes, because there is a lot of multi-flower rose bushes where I ride. The heavy-duty tubes have helped prevent flats significantly. The only downside it that because the tube rubber is thicker, they take a little longer to install. But, they save me time in the long run, because I get far fewer flats.
