what do the stem sizes mean?
A shopper on Oct 5, 2016
BEST ANSWER: Thank you for your question! The stem type refers to the angle of the stem. Some stems are straight, while others are slightly bent or severely bent. The TR-4 is straight stem, the TR-87 has a 90 degree angle stem. Feel free to contact us if you have any other concerns.

what size tube and valve stem do i need for a 160/80-15 2005 honda shadow spirit vt750dc ?
David W on Jul 25, 2019
BEST ANSWER: David, thank you for the question. We do not have the exact 160/80-15 size but it is okay to run a smaller tube. For example, a 140/80-15 TR-4 tube would work.

i'm replacing a metzeler 880 200/50-18 with another of the same size. what size tube will fit?
Darrell L on Aug 11, 2019
BEST ANSWER: Darrell, thank you for the question. The sizes offered in this tube are going to be too small. I would recommend a 180/55-18 or 5.30-18 tube size. It will still not be the exact size as the 200/50-18 but it should work. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. what size tube do i need for a 160/80-15 bias ply- tube ?
David W on Jul 23, 2019
BEST ANSWER: David, thank you for the question. The 140/80-15/////150/90-15 option will work for the 160/80-15 tire. We do not carry tubes in the 160/80-15 size. It is okay to run a smaller tube, running a bigger tube will cause friction internally. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. We are always more than happy to help.
i have ordered 4 tubes for my 2005 honda shadow spirit VT750DC bike, the tubes say offset on the package, but never are they offset. do i really need an offset tube on the bike ? I have ordered from 2 different companies.
David W on Jul 23, 2019
BEST ANSWER: David, thank you for the question. It depends on the way your wheel set up is. Most, if not all of them have an offset 45 degree stem. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you by contacting us by email at [email protected], Live Chat or by phone toll-free at 1-888-339-3888. Will this fit my 150/80-17?
Chad B on May 21, 2019

Metzeler tubes
I have Metzeler tires (tubeless) on my Gold Wing and I am very happy with them. When I replaced the tires on my Kawasaki KLX, I purchased Metzeler tubes for them, thinking they would be a similar quality, but I am very unhappy with them. They are very thin, and don't hold air very well. My tires on the KLX are run at 36PSI, and in a week they bled down to 21 PSI. I tossed them and put my old tubes back in.
